A sanctuary for free spiritswhere old friends meet and new friendships for life arise.
Memento is a brand new, intimate weekend festival in Goch, right across the German border (near Nijmegen). Late in the afternoon and at night we dance and celebrate life. During the day there’s time and space to dance, recharge, connect, discover and lose ourselves in the amazing decor of the Graefenthal monastery. An unforgettable get-together where time doesn’t exist and new long-lasting memories await around every corner.
We invite you to play your part in creating long-lasting memories with us.

Besides that our festival ground is packed with places to chill and get to know other members of the community better.
Location
Only once a year is an event the size of Memento allowed to take place in the magical surroundings of the historic Klooster Graefenthal. We realize how special this is and are very grateful for that.
Klooster Graefenthal is easily accessible by car and public transport.
The monastery is located just across the German border near Nijmegen, only an hour and a half from Amsterdam and an hour from Utrecht.

INFO
From Thursday the 27th of July at 16.00h until Monday the 31st of July at 12.00h you will enjoy an amazing curated blend of live acts and DJs. Wellness, art, theater, (spirtual) workshops, good healthy food and a family of like minded party animals.
Our festival is for everyone who wants to celebrate life with us for a weekend. Lovers of refined electronic music come together here. Looking for a weekend escape from everyday reality, or wanting to deepen in all areas of life. Here you meet new friends in a surrealistically beautiful environment.
MEMENTO makes no distinction between camping and festival grounds. It is a temporary village where everyone can camp wherever they want. With a wide range of healthy, (vegetarian / vegan) organic food you will not be short of anything. To ensure that our hardworking food truck owners don’t travel to Goch for nothing, as a visitor you are not allowed to bring your own meals or drinks (small snacks are the exception). We have of course taken this into account in the ticket price and the prices of the food.
The choice is huge and there is a 24-hour bar where food is available day and night. Breakfast, lunch, dinner and all kinds of snacks are all available so that you don’t go hungry.
You can always go to the car to get something. The permit providers also do not want partygoers to go on an adventure outside the gates of the festival. It is therefore not possible to continuously leave the site in the meantime, unless you report this to the organization in advance with a legitimate reason via info@ilmemento.com. We can then provide you with a wristband with which you can still enter and leave the site.
Everyone’s responsible for treating both the environment and the monastery with care. This also means that you’re responsible for your own trash. That’s why we will give you a trash bag at the entrance. At the end of the weekend you will receive your deposit back once you hand in a full trash bag. Let’s keep this world a beautiful place together. A perfect holy party ground is a clean holy party ground.
At the entrance you will receive a recycle coin from us. You can use this coin to get a plastic cup at the bar. You also return this cup to the bar when you get the next drink. If you lose a cup, we charge 0.75 cents per cup. You can also exchange your cups for a recycling coin. Cups cannot be exchanged for cash.
You can also bring your own empty 0.5 L water bottle, which you can refill at one of the water points.
The entire campsite is within the walls of the monastery so everything is within walking distance. Small tents are available to rent in advance, complete with an air mattress and bedding. The tents will be set up and collected for you. So full service! If you bring your own tent, you can choose a spot on the site. Our camping boss will give some instructions here and there so that everyone has a pleasant temporary home.
Party tents and the like are not allowed because of the space and the burden on nature.
Important to know:
Bring a hammer for your pegs as the ground can be hard in places
There is no electricity on the campsite. Air mattresses can be inflated at the lockers
Phones can be charged with a power bank. These can be rented at the cash desk.
More information about the campsite and more can be found on our FAQ page.
